Wife got the chicken sandwich and upgraded the side to fully loaded fries (chili and cheese). I got a burger and fries. Wound up taking my full burger home because the loaded fries were so large. Added my fries to the loaded and was full from that.
Tried their King Coney. They were great.

This location never disappoints!! The owners are very nice and do a lot for the Ross community!! The burgers are soooo good!!! They're cooked fresh to order and the sauce they use is very delicious!
Delicious food and fast, courteous service. Couple of servers working the floor, easy to get refills, etc. The owner Sam was there too and working alongside employees - checking on patrons, bringing drinks, and helping bus tables. Have been before and will definitely go again!
I moved out of Ohio a few years ago and I miss Gold Star terribly. On my most recent visit to town, we visited this location, and it was great! I hadn't seen it since they refurbished the inside, and it looked amazing. All the staff members were sweet high school kids, and they were doing an awesome job! We were all pleased with what we ordered. I'll be sure to come back to this specific location the next time I'm in town again!
I returned to this Gold Star location for dinner. Like my visit 2 years earlier, I had a 5 star experience. The staff was welcoming and attentive. On this occasion, our server was Brianna who made our visit enjoyable and satisfying. I have to say that this restaurant consistently has great service with friendly, upbeat employees. In addition to the great staff, the restaurant is inviting and clean as well as the bathroom. Also the outside of the restaurant was clearly maintained. Plus, I wanted to make sure to capture the BBQ Chicken Salad's generous portion. It was good and I was able to have enough for another meal. You can tell that the owner and the staff take pride in their business. It shows when you go there. The Gold Star Chili located in Ross, Ohio is a great restaurant to visit. The food is always good, and the owner takes a personal interest in every customer. He has quality staff who not only are friendly but are also helpful and attentive. You can't go wrong at this Gold Star Chili!
The food is good. The place is so nice. The service is really super nice, especially Holly she was so nice friendly and professional. When she knew this is the first time we tried their food ,she gave us coney as a sample to give it a shot, it was delicious 🤤 absolutely we will come back👍🏼
Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and garlic Parmesan fries, OMG. The fries were deliciously hot and covered in just the right amount of sauce. The chicken sandwich was fresh and hot, sauce was just right, and now I'm in a food coma. Great service as well, very kind staff, made me feel right at home.
